Head of the State Security Service, Geka Geladze, participates in the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum in China

The Head of the State Security Service of Georgia, Geka Geladze, together with a delegation, is in the People’s Republic of China on an official visit. At the official invitation of the Chinese side, the Head of the Service is participating in the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum, which is being held in the city of Lianyungang.

Within the frames of the 2026 Forum, high-ranking guests invited from over 100 countries worldwide will discuss issues of public security governance against the backdrop of a turbulent global environment.

Heads of security services and law enforcement agencies of various countries are participating in the event.

Prior to the opening of the conference, Geka Geladze, together with the Minister of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Xiaohong, visited the 3rd Public Security Technology Exhibition held within the framework of the Global Forum and explored modern public security technologies.

The exhibition was hosted by the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China.
