Officers of the Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested a person previously convicted of repeatedly illegally purchasing, storing and facilitating the sale of large amounts of narcotic drugs.

During a search of the defendant’s personal belongings and vehicle in Tbilisi, law enforcement officers seized as evidence a large amount of narcotic drugs prepared for sale, including: "Mephedrone", "Alpha-PVP", "Tetrahydrocannabinol" and "Marijuana".

The investigation is underway under Articles 260, 260-Quarter and 273 of the Criminal Code, which provides for up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
