The Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Sweden to Georgia, David Emtestam, presented copies of his Letters of Credence to Zurab Darchiashvili, Director of the Diplomatic Protocol Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

During the meeting held as part of the ceremony, the cooperation between Georgia and Sweden in both bilateral and multilateral formats was underscored.

The Georgian side expressed its gratitude to the Kingdom of Sweden for its steadfast support for Georgia`s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for Georgia`s non-recognition policy.

Zurab Darchiashvili congratulated David Emtestam on his appointment and wished him every success in his future endeavours.
