Officers of the Vake-Saburtalo Main Division under the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained one person on charges of violence.

The investigation established that on July 22, 2026, in Tbilisi, the accused physically assaulted Onise Okriashvili and fled the scene. Shortly after the crime was committed, offender surrendered to the Vake-Saburtalo Police Division, and law enforcement officers detained him as the accused.

The investigation is ongoing under Article 126 of the Criminal Code. Relevant investigative actions are continuing.
