The Tbilisi City Court fully accepted the evidence presented by the Prosecutor’s Office and found the defendant guilty of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of a particularly large amount of narcotics.

The evidence examined at the trial confirmed that the defendant illegally purchased and stored 45 packages of the narcotic drug “Alpha-PVP” in an especially large quantity, with the aim of facilitating its sale, which were seized by officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of searches.

The accused was charged under Article 260, Part Three, Subparagraph “a” (illegal purchase and storage of narcotic drugs in an especially large amount) and Article 260, Part Six, Subparagraph “a” (facilitation of the illegal sale of narcotic drugs in an especially large amount) of the Criminal Code of Georgia. The Tbilisi City Court found the defendant guilty of the charges and sentenced him to 17 years in prison.
