We should have no illusion that these loud political statements or adopted resolutions are based on any real arguments – Kaladze on OSCE PA resolution

Mayor of Tbilisi a criticized the resolution adopted by the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly on Georgia, claiming it was based on “falsehoods and slander” rather than facts.

“We should have no illusion that these loud political statements or adopted resolutions are based on any real arguments. They are wrapped in falsehoods and slander. It is regrettable that an international organisation such as the OSCE adopts this kind of resolution.

We have become accustomed to European Parliament resolutions that carry no real weight, but if you look at the content of this particular resolution, you will see that it is based on falsehoods. How can a developed country invite this type of organisation to observe its elections?

There are no real European standards. Look at what is happening in the world - those who have power make the decisions, no matter how absurd they may be. I have no illusion that anything will change or that there will be a different approach. Unfortunately, informal governance, the so-called Deep State, dominates the world today, and that is one of the greatest problems facing the modern world”, Kaladze concluded.
