Migration Department employees deported 113 foreign citizens from Georgia

Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in close coordination with the relevant units of the Ministry, have deported 113 foreign citizens from Georgia as a result of the measures taken in recent days.

The deported persons are citizens of Turkey, India, Russia, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Azerbaijan, China, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Kenya, Paraguay, Philippines, Jordan, Uganda, Lebanon and other countries.

In accordance with the current legislation, they were banned from entering the country.

The fight against illegal migration is one of the top priority areas of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the latest statistical data, 2,203 illegal migrants have already been deported from the country this year.
