Law enforcement officers seized an especially large amount of various types of drugs - 1 person detained

Officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested one person on charges of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of narcotic drugs in a particularly large amount.

As a result of the defendant`s personal search and search activities held in residential home, as well as from the places indicated by him during the investigative experiment, law enforcement officers seized as evidence an exceptionally large amount of various types of narcotic drugs prepared for sale, including: "cocaine", "alpha-PVP", as well as "mephedrone" weighing up to 50 grams and packaged in 48 packages.

Law enforcement officers also seized materials necessary for packaging narcotic drugs.

The investigation is underway under Articles 260 and 260-4 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
