The "Mziskari" project, initiated by the Georgia National Tourism Administration [GNTA], has emerged as a finalist for the prestigious ECTN Awards 2026, organized by the European Cultural Tourism Network.

A total of 72 applications from 23 European countries were submitted for the ECTN Awards 2026.

"Mziskari" was named a finalist in the category "Creative Tourism and Co-Created Cultural Tourism Experiences", placing it among the top four European projects in this category. In this nomination, "Mziskari" is featured alongside competing projects from Finland, Greece, and Croatia.

"Mziskari" is a project developed by the GNTA to unify authentic gastronomic experiences, local producers, farmers, and hosts carrying culinary traditions into a single network across different regions of the country.

The winners of the ECTN Awards 2026 will be revealed on September 24 on the Greek island of Skiathos.
