Tamar Beruchashvili has been appointed to the position of Rector of the Diplomacy Academy.

At various times, she held the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, served as the State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, as well as the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations.

Beruchashvili also held the positions of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and Ambassador-at-Large for Black Sea Issues.

Since 2022, she had been serving as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Romania.
