Law enforcement officers arrested a person wanted under the red notice of Interpol

Officers of Adjara Main Division of the Central Criminal Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested a citizen of the Republic of Turkey wanted under the red notice of Interpol.

The detainee was wanted internationally by Interpol at the request of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Turkey. As a result of the investigative actions carried out, law enforcement officers arrested the wanted person in the Ureki settlement of Ozurgeti municipality.

Currently, extradition procedures provided for by law are underway against the detainee.
