According to the National Environmental Agency, from the end of the day on July 3 until July 5, short periods of rain, heavy in some places, are expected in the mountainous regions of Georgia.

Thunderstorms, hail, and strengthening winds are possible.

The expected heavy rainfall may cause flash floods on small rivers and trigger or activate landslide and mudflow processes in hilly and mountainous zones (medium risk level).
