Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in close coordination with the relevant units of the agency, have deported 126 foreign citizens from Georgia as a result of the measures taken in recent days.
The deported persons are citizens of Turkey, India, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Nigeria, Jordan, Burundi, Sudan, China, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Lebanon, Moldova, the Philippines, and other states.
During the first 6 months of the current year, employees of the Migration Department expelled 2,036 illegal foreigners from Georgia, which significantly exceeds the total figure of last year.
In accordance with the current legislation, the deported persons were banned from entering the country.
