Sulkhan Tamazashvili held a meeting with the Director of the National Security Service of Armenia

Within the framework of the official visit to the Republic of Armenia, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili visited the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia where he met with the Director of the agency, Andranik Simonyan.

The members of the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia were present at the meeting, including the First Deputy Minister Roni Meskhi and the Director of the Patrol Police Department Levan Maisuradze.

The parties reviewed the ongoing processes in the region and modern security challenges. The discussion focused on border cooperation between the two countries, as well as on further enhancing coordination mechanisms to combat cross-border crime.

During the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia emphasized the importance of close cooperation between the two agencies and expressed readiness to further strengthen future relations in areas of common interest.
