To diversify export markets, a presentation and tasting of Georgian wine were held in Geneva, Switzerland, with the support of the National Wine Agency.
Representatives of the HoReCa sector attended the event. Various types of Georgian wine were introduced to the guests by Tamta Kvelaidze, Deputy Chairperson of the National Wine Agency, and Ana Godabrelidze, Chairperson of the State Tasting Commission.
The event was attended by Revaz Lominadze, Permanent Representative of Georgia to the UN Offices and other international organizations in Geneva.
“In order to diversify the export markets of Georgian wine, the National Wine Agency actively continues to implement marketing activities in various countries of the world, including the Swiss Confederation. Holding similar events in this market aims to expand the export area of Georgian wine and promote the process of market diversification”, - said Tamta Kvelaidze.
Increasing the awareness of Georgian wine and its popularization on international markets is one of the priority directions of the National Wine Agency’s activities. Since 2013, the agency has been actively implementing marketing and advertising campaigns in the USA, Europe, and Asia, which contribute to the growth of Georgian wine’s export potential and the development of new markets.
