Minister of Economy of Georgia said that strengthening and consolidating relations with Kazakhstan is of strategic importance for Georgia.

As she noted, a number of important bilateral, high-level meetings were held during the visit to Kazakhstan.

"As part of the visit, we had a number of important bilateral, high-level meetings, within the framework of which we discussed how important close cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia is not only for our two countries, but also for other countries in the region, especially in the context of the Middle Corridor. I would like to emphasize that during the visit, special attention was paid to the importance of the Anaklia deep sea port not only for Georgia, but also for the countries of the Middle Corridor - how important the launch of the deep sea port will be for our region and the Middle Corridor in general", - said Mariam Kvrivishvili.
