Georgian wine tasting held in Berlin with the support of the National Wine Agency

A tasting of Georgian wines was held in Berlin, the capital of Germany, with the financial support of the National Wine Agency and organized by the Agency’s contracted marketing company, ff.k Public Relations.

The main concept of the event was the pairing of Georgian wine with local cuisine. The tasting was attended by around 20 influencers, content creators, and media representatives. Participants had the opportunity to taste seven Georgian wines originating from different wine- producing regions of Georgia. Similar events were also held in the German cities of Düsseldorf and Cologne.

The event was hosted by renowned German chef and restaurateur Christoph Friedrich.

To enhance the export potential of Georgian wine in the German market, the National Wine Agency has been cooperating with ff.k Public Relations since 2021. Within the framework of the campaign, tasting seminars are held in various German cities for wine professionals, trade representatives, and consumers; Georgian wine is showcased at international exhibitions; targeted advertising and media campaigns are implemented; and wine tours to Georgia are organized for members of the media, wine professionals, and sales representatives.

Germany ranks among the top five export markets for Georgian wine and continues to demonstrate strong growth in sales. From January to May of this year, nearly 670,000 liters of wine were exported from Georgia to Germany, representing a 33% increase compared to the same period last year.
