The close cooperation between the United States Secret Service and our Georgian partners is an excellent example of how such cooperation can achieve real results, said Maximilian Trkulia, Regional Director of the United States Secret Service Office, at a briefing held at the Prosecutor Generalэs Office of Georgia.

He said the Secret Service plays a critical role in protecting the stability and integrity of the U.S. financial system by investigating and preventing crimes such as counterfeiting, financial fraud, and financial crimes committed through cyber means.

"The U.S. Secret Service is known for protecting the President and Vice President of the United States, but our organization has a dual mission - we focus on both protection and investigation. Many people don`t know that the Secret Service plays a critical role in protecting the stability and integrity of the United States financial system by investigating and preventing crimes such as fraud, financial fraud, and cybercrime, and that’s exactly why I’m here today".

In today’s interconnected world, criminals are increasingly targeting victims in different countries, making their crimes a global threat. Identifying, disrupting, and disrupting these organizations requires a multinational effort from international law enforcement partners.
