A large-scale event was held in Georgia by employees of the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia, the US Secret Service, Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime of Poland, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance

Employees of the Prosecutor`s Office of Georgia, the United States Secret Service, the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime of the Republic of Poland and the Lodz District Prosecutor`s Office, as well as the investigative services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, conducted a large-scale event in Georgia.

The special event, which was prepared with the support of Eurojust and Europol together with international partners, involved about 100 law enforcement officers from the United States, the Republic of Poland, and Georgia, and investigative actions were conducted at dozens of locations across Georgia.

Within the framework of the operation, searches were carried out on individuals, their homes, vehicles and workplaces. As a result, electronic evidence and documentation important for the investigation were seized. At the same time, 173 vehicles, expensive real estate and funds in bank accounts, allegedly purchased for the purpose of legalizing illegal income, were seized.

As part of a joint operation, on June 10, we arrested members of an organized crime group - two foreign citizens - in the territory of Adjara.

Investigations into the aforementioned criminal case in various countries have established that an organized criminal group - under the pseudonym "AudiA6", which has been operating since 2022, provided cybercriminals and other criminals with the laundering of illegally obtained cryptocurrency in the online space - covering up traces of the crime from law enforcement agencies, for which they received substantial benefits. In 2022-2025, within the framework of illegal activities, members of "AudiA6" laundered cryptocurrency worth several hundred million US dollars.

In addition to the above, the criminal group also operated a cybercrime forum called "Dark2Web", which was used to advertise illegal services and connect cybercriminals around the world.

The effective fight against transnational crime is particularly important for the PoG, and the agency has good experience in international cooperation in this direction.

The PoG would like to thank the employees of the PoG, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance for the highly professional and successful event. As well as the representatives of Eurojust and Europol for the assistance provided within the framework of the aforementioned joint event. The PoG confirms its respect for the representatives of the US Secret Service, the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime of the Republic of Poland, and the Prosecutor`s Office of Lodz, and once again expresses its readiness for effective cooperation in the fight against transnational crime.
