Officers of Isani-Samgori Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested three foreign citizens at different times on charges of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of narcotics in particularly large quantities.

During the personal search of the accused persons, law enforcement officers also seized 42 packages of narcotics prepared for sale from various locations as evidence, including: “Methadone” and dried “marijuana”.

The investigation is underway under Articles 260 and 260-4 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
