The Vice Prime Minister / Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia spoke about the European Union resolutions and the ongoing discussion of the report.

As she said, the process of working on the document in the European Parliament [EP] has once again confirmed that certain forces are using this process to create an agenda in Georgia.

“We have seen numerous resolutions. Even now, the EP is discussing another report on Georgia. We had the opportunity to follow the process of how the work on this report was conducted in the EP. It is regrettable that not a single amendment aimed at improving the document and bringing it closer to the truth was taken into account.

This once again confirms that this is a process used by certain forces solely to create some kind of agenda in Georgia, which they are not very successful at, but they maximally damage the image of the EU, first and foremost, and the face of the EU. There is so much incorrect information written in these resolutions, and they are so disinformation-driven, that it is simply impossible to take them seriously”, - said Maka Botchorishvili.
