Within the framework of the 10th trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Georgia, Türkiye and Azerbaijan, held in Istanbul, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.

The sides discussed the strategic partnership between Georgia and Türkiye and prospects for its further development. Sectoral cooperation between the two countries was positively assessed.

The meeting also focused on the importance of bilateral cooperation in the development of the Middle Corridor and the successful implementation of related strategic projects.

During the discussions, emphasis was placed on ongoing developments in the region and on the role of Georgia and Türkiye in promoting peace and stable development in the region.

The ministers expressed their readiness to continue close cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.

Maka Botchorishvili thanked her Turkish counterpart for the high-level organization and warm hospitality during the Foreign Ministerial meeting held within the framework of the Georgia-Azerbaijan-Türkiye trilateral format in Istanbul.
