A regular meeting of the Governing Council of the Leville Georgian Estate was held at the Ministry of Culture of Georgia.

The Head of the Leville Georgian Academy presented a report on activities completed, currently underway, and planned as part of the Leville Estate rehabilitation project.

Representatives of the National Museum presented the concept and design of an exhibition space at the Leville Estate dedicated to the First Republic of Georgia.

A representative of the National Library presented the project for the Leville Estate Library.

The meeting also addressed the question of putting the Leville Georgian Cemetery in order. The projects and report presented were discussed and approved by the members of the Council. It was also noted that the ongoing rehabilitation works at the Leville Estate, carried out within the framework of the state’s commitments, are in their final stage.

The meeting, chaired by Tinatin Rukhadze [Minister of Culture of Georgia and Chairperson of the Leville Estate Governing Council], was attended by members of the Leville Estate Governing Council, including the Chairman of the National Agency of State Property; members of the families who signed the notarial deed transferring the Leville Estate to Georgia; Deputy Ministers of Culture; representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the National Museum, and the National Library; the Ambassador of Georgia to France; the Director of the Georgian National Museum; the Head of the Leville Georgian Academy; and the French lawyer involved in the project.
