As he noted, national interests are the defining factor for any state.

“We have always said that every state acts out of its own national interests - such is modern politics, and not only modern politics. Every state acts out of its own interests; therefore, it is absolutely logical that today the new administration is starting to talk about reviewing relations, including with Russia. Once again, national interests are the defining factor for any state. We have been urging everyone, the entire society, to look at events pragmatically. Today’s processes show that there is no alternative to a pragmatic approach”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
