Officers of Isani-Samgori Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 3 people on charges of attempted premeditated murder committed against two or more people under aggravating circumstances, illegal acquisition and possession of firearms and ammunition, and concealment of a particularly severe crime.

The investigation established that one of the accused persons, on the basis of a past conflict, injured three people in various body parts with a firearm and fled the scene.

The injured men were taken to a clinic for appropriate medical care. The investigation also established that two friends of the accused witnessed the incident however, both of them concealed a particularly severe crime.

As a result of the operational-search and investigative actions carried out in the case, law enforcement officers arrested all 3 defendants on the run.

The investigation is underway under Articles 19-109, 236 and 375 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning the imprisonment for a term of up to 20 years.
