Employees of Dedoplistskaro Police Division of Kakheti Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested one person on charges of inflicting severe health damage to health.

The investigation established that the accused person, in a village in Dedoplistskaro Municipality, inflicted injuries to a man, using a cold steel on the basis of a mutual dispute and fled the scene.

The wounded man was taken to the clinic for appropriate medical assistance.

As a result of the investigative actions conducted by law enforcement officers, the perpetrator of the crime was arrested as an accused person.

The weapon used to commit the crime - a knife - was seized as evidence.

The investigation is underway under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for imprisonment for up to 7 years.
