Head of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance introduced the new Deputy Head to the staff

The Head of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, Mikheil Maglakelidze, introduced the new Deputy Head, Ia Akhalaia, to the staff.

She graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and holds the academic qualification of a Certified Specialist in Law. She has many years of experience serving in senior positions within public institutions. In particular, from 2020 to 2025, she served as Head of the Legal Division of the Protection Police Department of the Legal Entity of Public Law under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Until her current appointment, she held the position of Deputy Head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

The Head of the Revenue Service congratulated Ia Akhalaia on her appointment and wished her success in her future work.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Head of the Revenue Service, Paata Kiladze; Deputy Heads Mikheil Chokoshvili, Levan Tsitelashvili and Irakli Shartava; as well as the heads of all structural units.
