Georgia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 6.2% in April 2026 compared to the same period last year, reads the report of GeoStat.
With this latest monthly figure, the average real GDP growth rate for the first 4r months of 2026 stands at 8.3%.
Several sectors of the economy significantly contributed to the year-over-year growth in April 2026. The primary drivers of this economic expansion include: manufacturing, information and communication, transportation and storage, trade, financial and insurance activities. A downward trend was recorded in the following sectors: construction, mining and quarrying.
