Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Georgia, H.E. Mustafa Türker Arı.

The Head of Government of Georgia congratulated the Ambassador on the beginning of his diplomatic mission and wished him every success in his future activities.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the strong strategic partnership between the two countries, founded on shared regional interests. Attention was also given to the importance of strengthening economic ties and it was noted that Türkiye is Georgia`s leading trading partner.

The parties discussed the development potential of the Middle Corridor and joint regional projects. In this context, special emphasis was placed on the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the South Caucasus region.
