The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in close coordination with the relevant units of the Ministry, has deported 86 foreign citizens from Georgia as a result of the measures taken in recent days.
The deported persons are citizens of Turkey, Russia, India, Turkmenistan, Kenya, Nigeria, China, Azerbaijan, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Egypt, Pakistan, Sudan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other states.
It is notable that according to the data of the first 4 months of the current year, the Migration Department employees deported almost the same number of illegal immigrants from the country as the total number of illegal foreign migrants deported throughout last year. In accordance with the current legislation, the deported persons were banned from entering the country.
