Irakli Nadareishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and Maia Omiadze, Head of the National Tourism Administration, held bilateral meetings within the framework of ITB China.
The Georgian delegation met with Sumer Wong, Regional Director of Marketing at Trip.com, as well as David Ruetz, Senior Vice President of Messe Berlin.
Within the framework of the meetings, the parties discussed plans for future cooperation aimed at promoting Georgiaэs tourism potential and increasing the countryэs awareness in international markets. Attention was focused on strengthening the positioning of Georgia as a tourist destination in the Chinese and Asian markets, as well as on cooperation in international tourism exhibitions and marketing campaigns.
The meetings were held on the sidelines of the international tourism exhibition ITB China, where Georgia is presented with the status of a partner country.
