Azerbaijan Railways has resumed regular Baku-Tbilisi-Baku passenger service. The first Baku-Tbilisi flight has already been completed, and the train is already in Tbilisi.

According to Lasha Abashidze, Director General of "Georgian Railway", this important Baku-Tbilisi flight has been successfully completed, and the train will continue to operate on a daily basis.

"This is a very important route since the service is being restored. This train will run daily. Demand is very high - virtually within a few days, a very large number of tickets were sold. Congratulations, it is a rather successful project. We worked together with our Azerbaijani colleagues to restore this route. Starting today, this flight will operate every day in both the Tbilisi-Baku and Baku-Tbilisi directions", - added Lasha Abashidze.
