Prime Minister of Georgia that several recent communications, including a conversation with the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, have strengthened the Georgian Government’s belief that a reset in US-Georgia relations is possible.

As he noted, the Government feels confident thanks to strong public support and sees positive signs in relations with Washington.

“We feel very strong because we have the public support. As for Georgian-American relations, which worries our opposition very much, we have had several communications, including my communication with Mr. Rubio, and all this keeps our belief alive that a reset in Georgian-American relations is possible.

This is the current reality. We should calmly wait for further developments. The opposition is nervous about the positive trends. We are pleased with these positive trends”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
