Over 1 000 tickets sold for renewed Baku-Tbilisi-Baku train route

Over 1 000 tickets were sold shortly after the reopening of the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku railway route, reflecting strong passenger demand between the two capitals, according to Azerbaijan Railways, writes AzerNEWS.

According to Azerbaijan Railways, ticket sales exceeded 400 in Baku and more than 500 in Tbilisi within a short period. Due to the high demand, an additional carriage was added to the first scheduled train departing from Baku.

Train services on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku route are scheduled to resume on May 25 from Baku and on May 26 from Tbilisi.
