The National Environmental Agency has issued a warning regarding the weather conditions anticipated in Georgia over the coming days.

According to the meteorologists, rainfall is expected across most of the country on May 21–22, with the eastern regions experiencing particularly heavy showers, thunderstorms, and hail in some areas.

The expected precipitation may lead to significant rises in water levels in Georgian rivers, flash floods on smaller rivers, the activation of landslide processes in hilly and mountainous regions. Danger level - medium.
