The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, along with a delegation, visited a military unit of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Georgian delegation was hosted on-site by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vilayat Eyvazov, as well as the Commander of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shahin Mammadov.

During the visit, members of the Georgian delegation inspected the military equipment and infrastructure, while also learning about the unit's capabilities and main areas of activity.

Within the framework of the visit, a bilateral meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia and his Azerbaijani colleague. The parties discussed the existing law enforcement cooperation and prospects for future partnership, emphasizing the successful cooperation between the two agencies and the importance of its further expansion.
