Vice Prime Minister/State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies said that state institutions are fully prepared to maintain order and prevent any attempts at destabilisation during the May 26 opposition rally.

"They will not be able to carry out anything similar on May 26. I can tell you with full responsibility, I have this information, that they will not be able to do anything. On October 4, we faced a far more serious situation, and at that time state institutions managed to prevent a great disaster.

Back then, we were able to end everything quickly on the same day, detain those who were the main organisers of the attempted coup, as well as neutralise in advance those who were actively involved or potentially could have been involved", - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
