The Parliament adopted an amendment to the Law "On Licenses and Permits"

Parliament discussed and adopted in an expedited procedure, the draft Law on Licenses and Permits with 72 votes in favor and 9 against.

The issue was presented by Chairman of the Culture Committee, Giorgi Gabunia.

According to the amendment, the Tbilisi City Council will be authorized to establish the procedure for preparing and approving construction documentation for works on cultural heritage monuments. This will allow Tbilisi City Hall and legal entities established by the Tbilisi Municipality to simplify the approval process for project documentation before the authorized administrative body.

"The legislative amendment aims to improve administrative processes in the field of cultural heritage protection, increase the efficiency of decision-making, and facilitate the implementation of rehabilitation works", - said Giorgi Gabunia.
