President of Georgia attends the enthronement of the newly elected Patriarch

The President of Georgia attended the enthronement of His Holiness and Beatitude Shio III, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi, and Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, at Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.

The enthronement took place during the festive liturgy dedicated to the Day of Saint Andrew the First-Called and the Apportionment of Georgia as the Domain of the Mother of God.

Mikheil Kavelashvili was present at Svetitskhoveli Cathedral along with his children, the Honorary Chairman of Georgian Dream Bidzina Ivanishvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze, representatives of executive and legislative branches.
