Vice Prime Minister / State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies joined dignitaries at Svetitskhoveli Cathedral to mark the enthronement of His Holiness and Beatitude Patriarch Shio III.

Mamuka Mdinaradze underlined the profound historical weight of the day, offering his heartfelt congratulations to the new leader of the Georgian Orthodox Church.

"Today is truly a historic day. I would like to sincerely congratulate the Patriarch. In general, this is an extremely heavy responsibility, especially continuing the path of our previous Patriarch. However, judging by his personality and character, I am confident that he will handle this responsibility with dignity and become one of the distinguished Patriarchs among Patriarchs. I wish him great, great success", - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
