The State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies said that Georgia recognises and values a "Christian, truly democratic, identity-respecting European culture" and a broader European approach to democracy, national identity, and governance standards.

As he argued, no union or country should seek to punish others for holding such views or for expressing respect toward that cultural and political tradition.

"The relationships between states can only improve where there is fairness and mutual respect, while unfair treatment inevitably damages prospects for cooperation… Where there is fairness, relations improve. Neither side can be expected to take responsibility for normalization if one party acts unfairly toward the other. One-sided unfairness makes meaningful normalization impossible. Georgia seeks no special advantages, only fair assessments and proper treatment of its actions", - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.

He further criticized what he described as PR narratives or externally driven approaches against the country, insisting that Georgia is open to cooperation with all partners as long as it`s national and identity-related interests are respected and placed first: "Georgia supports engagement with partners but rejects pressure or criticism that disregards its sovereignty and identity. Country`s independence and sovereignty today are as strong as ever, and Georgia would respond appropriately to any unjust treatment".
