The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Georgia, Mustafa Türker Arı.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in Georgia and wished him success in his future endeavors.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the strategic partnership existing between the two countries and highlighted the importance of sharing experience and best practices. Discussions touched upon the importance of police cooperation, which is successfully implemented through the involvement of police attachés, the continuous exchange of crime-related information, and the regular organization of working visits.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili thanked Mustafa Türker Arı for the fruitful cooperation and reaffirmed the readiness of the Georgian side to actively continue working with the Turkish side to further strengthen the partnership in the field of law enforcement.
