We are ready to do everything possible to restore relations with Ukraine to the maximum extent, and for this to be reflected in the relations between the governments. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

As he noted, challenges exist and have accumulated. However, the friendship and relationship between Georgia and Ukraine have a very long history.

“Therefore, we are ready to do everything to ensure that these relations are restored as much as possible and that this is reflected in the relations between the governments. Every reasonable step can be taken from our side. Naturally, we support the Ukrainian people, who are currently in a most difficult situation - in a state of war, facing the toughest economic and social conditions. We support the Ukrainian people in every way; naturally, we express our solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. Accordingly, we are fully interested in having friendly relations both between the countries and between the governments. Let us wait for the development of events. There is full readiness on our part; as for the rest, we shall see”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
