Prime Minister of Georgia participating in the 8th summit of the EPC

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia is participating in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community (EPC).

The leaders attending the summit are being hosted in Yerevan by Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

Today, the Head of Government of Georgia will address European leaders during a roundtable discussion, the main theme of which is strengthening connectivity and economic security.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the summit will also be used for bilateral meetings and in his speech particular attention will be paid to the special role of Georgia for Europe in terms of connectivity: "We connect seven countries to the Black Sea and - consequently - to the West in economic and trade terms and - naturally - we will actively discuss this. Georgia holds great significance for Europe from a connectivity perspective".

The Prime Minister of Georgia attended the plenary session of the summit, which was opened by Nikol Pashinyan and the President of the European Council, António Costa.

The leaders participating in the summit took a joint family photo.
