According to the Patriarchate of Georgia, the Locum Tenens of the Patriarchal Throne, Metropolitan Shio (Mujiri) of Senaki and Chkhorotsqu, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, at the Patriarchate.

The conversation touched upon meetings with Georgian Diasporas abroad, where various events will be held to mark the 1700th anniversary of the declaration of Christianity as the state religion in Georgia.

The meeting was attended by Metropolitan Daniel (Datuashvili) of Chiatura and Sachkhere, and the Head of the Public Relations Department of the Patriarchate, Archpriest Andria Jaghmaidze.
