Inspectors of the Adjara Department of the National Food Agency have identified an illegal meat processing enterprise in Batumi, LLC “Shah Katami” (address: Batumi, Airport Highway 205).

As a result of state control, it was found that the business operator was operating without mandatory recognition and registration in the Register of Economic Activities. The rule for providing information about food to consumers was also violated.

Due to the identified inconsistencies, the business operator was fined and the production process of the facility was suspended.

The National Food Agency continues to identify illegal enterprises throughout the country and calls on business operators not to produce products without recognition.
