A high-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates has shown particular interest in investing in Georgia`s transport-logistics and energy sectors. The Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development said this after a meeting with Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"We had a very productive meeting with the UAE State Minister. The delegation was quite representative, including various business sector leaders. We discussed several investment projects, as well as both current and future initiatives.

We agreed to form a concrete mechanism involving representatives from both the public and private sectors. Within this format, we will review various investment projects. This will serve as a practical tool for making swift and effective decisions", - said Genadi Arveladze.
