President Mikheil Kavelashvili has signed the document on amendments to the Law of Georgia “On the Structure, Powers and Rules of Operation of the Government of Georgia”. Consequently, the law has already entered into force.
According to the law, the Administration of the Government of Georgia will provide material-technical and organizational support for the activities of the State Minister of Georgia for the Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies.
Mamuka Mdinaradze will hold the position of State Minister for the Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is expected to sign the relevant decree tomorrow. Mdinaradze will also hold the post of Vice Prime Minister.
As a reminder, the Parliament approved the amendments to the draft law 'On the Structure, Powers and Rules of Operation of the Government of Georgia' today. The deputies passed the changes with 84 votes.
