The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has sent another diplomatic note to the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
In addition to the verbal note sent on April 9, the Georgian Foreign Ministry has once again called for the information published on the official website of Germany`s Foreign Office regarding representatives of the Georgian government to be updated, noting that it has not been revised since 2024 despite the results of the parliamentary and presidential elections.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia once again reminds the Federal Foreign Office of Germany that on December 29, 2024, Mr. Mikheil Kavelashvili was elected President of Georgia by the Parliament of Georgia, and since December 1, 2024, Ms. Maka Botchorishvili has held the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Federal Foreign Office of Germany the assurances of its highest consideration", - says the agency.
On the official website of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, Salome Zourabichvili is still listed as the president of Georgia, while Ilia Darchiashvili is named as the Foreign Minister.
