As the Ministry of Economy says, despite a reduction in flights due to the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf region, the growing dynamics of air traffic in Georgia's aviation sector were maintained in the first quarter.

According to the aggregated data, in January-March 2026, Georgian airports served 1,605,000 passengers via regular and non-regular flights, which is a 4.28% increase compared to the number of passengers transported during the same period last year.
